Fish out of water

Fish out of water, or more precisely, Magda out of her element. Gold, yes of course. Animal print, not so much. EVER. Well, this mani comes more out of necessity, so to say…
I had a recent Hallowe’en party to attend, and in a pinch decided to go as Snooki! (in retrospect, not too sure if it’s such a GOOD thing that I could pull it off so easily ) And, clearly, Snooki is not complete without animal print nails…

The base colour I used, Nars Desperado, is an antiqued gold which I’ve sported on its own numerous times. To Jersey Shore it up, I’ve stamped using Bundle Monster plate #221 and Wet n’ Wild Ebony hates Chris. Topped it off with Essie ‘Good to go’…and Voila! And just in time ’cause “cabs are here!!!” (Jersey Shore anyone?!?)…
And for the actual look? Here you go…

I took everything I learned NOT to do in makeup school, and applied it…all…at once…at the same time!  Hmmm, maybe next I can post on what it took to de-Snookify my hair
If you ask me, I’d have to say that it’s the nails that are keeping this look afloat

P.S. The facial expressions are for two reasons:

1. I couldn’t keep a straight face after I saw the reflection of how ridiculous I look

2. I felt it gave it a genuine Snooki edge
